Heat Meets Meat: Fiery Jalapeño Popper Burgers for Bold Taste Buds

Sink your teeth into a juicy beef patty, perfectly seasoned and graced with melted Brighton Farms® American Pepper Jack Cheese. But the real star? Those stuffed jalapeño halves, oozing with a creamy blend of Brighton Farms® Cream Cheese, minced garlic, and zesty lemon pepper seasoning. Topped with crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, and creamy guacamole, this burger is a spicy, cheesy, and utterly irresistible delight! 🌶🔥🍔

Serves 8

Ingredients
  • 6 oz Brighton Farms® Cream Cheese (equivalent to 3 oz per serving)
  • 8 slices Brighton Farms® American Pepper Jack Cheese
  • 6 Jalapeño Peppers, halved and seeded
  • 2 tsp Olive Oil
  • 12 slices Bacon, crumbled
  • 4 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • ½ tsp Paprika
  • 2 lbs Ground Beef (adjust seasoning as desired)
  • Lettuce, Tomato, and Guacamole for garnish
Directions
  1. Brush jalapeños with oil and grill covered over medium heat for 3-5 minutes or until tender. Once cool, chop finely.
  2. Combine finely chopped jalapeños with bacon and cream cheese.
  3. In a large bowl, combine garlic, salt, lemon pepper seasoning, pepper, and paprika and mix into beef.
  4. Shape into 8 thin patties.
  5. Spoon bacon/cream cheese/jalapeño mixture onto 4 of the patties, cover with remaining 4 patties, and press edges firmly to seal.
  6. Grill burgers covered over medium heat or broil 4 inches from heat for 6-7 minutes on each side until temp. is 160°F.
  7. Top with Pepper Jack Cheese and cook 1-2 minutes longer until cheese is melted.
  8. Serve on a grilled bun, and top with lettuce, tomato, and guacamole as desired.

A delightful fusion of textures and flavors that will leave everyone craving more. A quiche with a crispy hash brown crust filled with a luscious mixture of eggs, cheese, and other flavorful ingredients!

Serves 12

Ingredients
  • 8 oz. Simply Potatoes® Refrigerated Shredded Hash Browns 3⁄16
  • 16 oz. Papetti’s® Liquid Whole Egg
  • 1 Tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 oz Red Peppers, diced
  • 1 1/2 oz Green Peppers, diced
  • 1 oz. diced Onions
  • 3 oz. Bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 4 oz. Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
  2. Spray muffin tins with cooking spray.
  3. Press Simply Potatoes® Shredded Hash Browns into a pan in a thin layer.
  4. Spray Simply Potatoes® Shredded Hash Browns with cooking spray (this will help crisp them).
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned and crisp.
  6. In a pan over medium-high heat, heat olive oil and sauté red and green
    peppers with onions for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Combine sautéed peppers and onions, bacon, and cheddar cheese and divide between 12 muffin tins with cooked hash browns.
  8. Pour Papetti’s® Eggs to top each muffin tin and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes until set.
  9. Serve hot, or cool completely and reheat for 7 minutes at 400°F.

Turkey Delight in Every Bite

Topped with the delightful crunch of dill pickles and the richness of Swiss cheese, each turkey sandwich promises a satisfying and easy-to-prepare feast for your gathering.

Serves 6

Ingredients 
  • 12 slices of Jennie-O® VIP Roasted Turkey Breast
  • 6 cups of Flour
  • 6 cups of Eggs (approximately 12 large eggs)
  • 6 cups of Panko Breadcrumbs
  • 12 slices of White Bread
  • 9 tablespoons of Dijonnaise 1
  • 2 tablespoons of Jennie-O® Perfect Slice Bacon Bits
  • 36 slices of Dill Pickle Slices (6 per serving)
  • 12 slices of Swiss Cheese (2 per serving)
Directions
  1. Prepare the Jennie-O® VIP Roasted Turkey Breast slice, flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs with standard breading procedure—place in the freezer to firm up.
  2. Once breaded turkey breast is firm (about 20 minutes), fry at 350°F for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Build sandwich in this order:
    – Bottom slice of white bread
    – Dijonnaise, spread on bottom slice
    – Jennie-O® Turkey Breast Slice, breaded and fried
    – Jennie-O® Bacon Bits
    – Dill pickles
    – Swiss cheese
    – Top slice of white bread
  4. Place sandwich in lightly buttered panini press for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown. Cut and serve hot.

From Chobani®, we added Non-Fat Greek Yogurt, Peach. Plump, juicy peaches beneath a blanket of delicious Chobani Greek Yogurt. Chobani yogurt is made from high-quality, non-fat Greek yogurt, known for its creamy texture and rich taste. Each case contains twelve individual cups, each weighing 4 ounces, conveniently portioned for grab-and-go consumption or meal customization. This yogurt can be served as a standalone snack, incorporated into breakfast parfaits, used as a topping for desserts, or blended into smoothies. The individually portioned cups eliminate the need for measuring and portioning, saving time in food preparation.

From Carando®, we added Genoa Classic Salami. Genoa Salami is known for its rich and savory flavor, made using a combination of pork, fat, and various spices. This salami is a versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of culinary applications. It can be sliced and added to sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and pasta dishes, or simply as an appetizer with cheese and crackers. Each case comes with four half-sticks averaging 3.2 lbs.

Just in time for Back-to-School, we added two new K12 items from Bake Crafters. Just when you thought pancakes couldn’t get any better, Bake Crafters brings you delicious pancake bites! These gourmet, bite-sized pancakes are whole grain and perfect any time of the day. Serve them with syrup, powdered sugar, or just as they are! Made from a delicious pancake batter these bites are designed to be easily heated and served, providing a quick and convenient breakfast or snack option.  The second item from Bake Crafters is Whole Grain, White Garlic Pizza. And finally, from Smithfield®, we added fully cooked bacon slices. INGREDIENTS

Tyson™ Red Label NAE FC Fajita Seasoned Breast Strips 16 oz/1 lb
Roasted Red Bell Peppers, drained 1/4 cup
Mayonnaise 1/2 cup
French Rolls 4
Italian Mix Giardiniera, drained and chopped 1 cup
Wright® Brand Naturally Hickory Smoked Extra Thick Sliced Steak Cut Bacon 8 slices
Tomato 8 slices
Provolone or Monterey Jack Cheese 8 slices
Deli-Sliced Jalapeño Peppers 1/2 cup
Cilantro Leaves, cleaned and chopped 1/2 bunch
Extra Virgin Italian Olive Oil 2 Tbsp

Directions:

  1. To make the aioli, combine the roasted bedd peppers and mayonnaise in a small food processor. Blend until puréed. Refrigerate up to 3 days.
  2. Slice the chicken into 1/2-inch thick slices.
  3. In a frying pan, cook the bacon over medium-high heat until crisp.
  4. To assemble the sandwich, slice the bread, removing the soft inside dough of the sandwich. Spread the aioli on both sides of the sandwich.
  5. Place the giardiniera onto the bread, then add the sliced chicken, bacon, tomato slices, cheese, jalapeños, and cilantro. Brush the olive oil onto the outside crust of the bread and press in a panini press until cheese is melted and crust is crunchy.

Don’t let this tiny, open-faced crostini trick you. It is packed with flavor from caramelized onion, crispy bacon, and pub cheese by Président®. It’s a simple but satisfying appetizer that’s sure to impress everyone at the table.

Yields: 5 servings   

INGREDIENTS:

  • 8 oz Cheddar Horseradish Pub Cheese by Président® (#27916)
  • 1 whole French Baguette
  • 12 oz Baby Bella Mushrooms sliced
  • 2 whole Garlic Cloves minced
  • 3-4 whole Slices of Bacon cut into pieces
  • 1 whole Garlic Clove
  • 1 whole Large Yellow Onion
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 tsp Each of Salt and Pepper
  • 1 pinch Fresh Thyme for garnish

DIRECTIONS

  1. Peel and slice the onion into thin strips in a large skillet, add the butter and onions together. Cook over low-medium heat for about 20 minutes, string frequently until golden and caramelized.
  2. While the onions are cooking, slice the French baguette into thin slices and drizzle with olive oil. Bake on broil in the oven for a few minutes on each side until toasty and golden. Rub each side with fresh garlic clove. Set aside.
  3. Once the onions have caramelized, remove from the skillet and add the bacon pieces. Cook until brown and crispy. (No need to reserve the bacon grease.) Remove the bacon and add the mushrooms, minced garlic, salt and pepper. Cook over medium heat until fragrant and the edges of the mushrooms are charred.
  4. Assemble the crostini with a slice of roasted baguette, spread a thin layer of Président® Pub Cheese, top with caramelized onions, mushrooms and bacon pieces. Garnish with fresh thyme.
