New food service items from Double Red Provisions, Holten, Hillshire and More

This week we added seasoned beef patties, pork loin fritters, diced bacon topping and more.

We have lots of great items this week for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. From Double Red Provisions, we have frozen char-broiled beef patties. These patties are offered in a generous 4-ounce size and come fully cooked and pre-seasoned. This allows for an easy grill-to-table application, lowering labor efforts without lowering standards on taste. If you’re looking for a non-beef option, we also added boneless pork loin fritters from Holten Meats. They also arrive in a 4-ounce size, and are lightly seasoned with a crispy homestyle breading. These fritters appeal to a wide range of customers, and offers multiple uses throughout  the day. Use it for breakfast biscuits, with biscuits & gravy, as a hot sandwich, or as a dinner entree.

Next, we have a variety of plastic sundae dish sizes from DFI. Choose from 5-ounce, 8-ounce, or 12-ounce sizes as well as a dome lid that fits all three container options! The dishes made of a clear plastic, allowing customers to see the tasty and colorful layers and flavors of the ice cream. The dome lid is also made of a clear plastic, but does not have a hole in the center of the lid, ensuring the contents inside remain untouched. From Jennie-O, try their turkey breast fillets – 4-ounce frozen fillets that taste good and are good for you. They are great for K-12 and sandwich applications, as well as chopped into a wrap or salad. For the bacon-lovers out there, we added diced Bakin’ Bacon™ topping from Hillshire Farms. This heat-n-serve pizza topping adds premium appeal to pizzas, appetizers, entrées and more, and spreads its savory bacon flavor throughout an entire dish. Save prep time and assure ease of use for your back-of-house staff by incorporating this item into recipes that are already on your menu.

From World Tableware, we added heavy High Society teaspoons. This piece of silverware is great for coffees, desserts, cups of soup and much more. Its sleek design also helps elevate your operation’s table set up and its durability prevents dents and cracks and ensures prolonged use. We also have PC cups of margarine spread, which are great for breads and rolls, as well as breakfast dishes such as pancakes, waffles and more. This is a great item for to-go applications and pre-packaged meals such as school breakfasts and lunches. Lastly, we have compostable hinged paper containers from Greenwave. These containers measure 9″x12″x3″ with the top and bottom hinged together. It is microwave-safe and is compostable, made out of sugar cane resources, and takes approximately 12 weeks to break down.
